What Is “Bible” – Biblical Theology 101:
In this series, I trace the eternal covenant through the whole Bible, and therefore give an overview understanding of what the Bible teaches. This is a third option for covenant theology versus dispensationalism, which I think will be refreshing and beneficial.

Replacement Theology:
Here I pool together all of the arguments that I can find for replacement theology (the belief that the Church has replaced Israel), and one by one I go through each point in explaining why I’m not a replacement theologian. This was as close to exhaustive as I could be without actually getting into an entire series on eschatology (end times).

Dispensationalism:
The pre-tribulation rapture theory hangs upon two foundations: dispensationalism and imminence. Dispensationalism says that God has worked with humanity in various ways throughout history, each era being called a “dispensation”, and each era being commenced with a new covenant (Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, etc). This produces the thought that there is a fundamental difference between the Church and Israel, and therefore Israel still has unfulfilled prophecies of a Kingdom, of being ruled over by Messiah, and of redemption. This series shows why I disagree with this view, and to what extent I disagree.

Imminence:
Imminence is the idea that there is no prophecy that must take place before the rapture. It is heralded in the pre-tribulation rapture theory as proof positive that we will be raptured before the tribulation. I find that the idea is based upon circular reasoning rather than Scripture. Here are my opinions; what do you think?

What are some of the basic doctrines of the faith, and how do they relate to our everyday life? This is a theology outline, of which can be built upon and used as a foundation. Please note: this is not a biblical theology, but a systematic theology (I prefer the term “dogmatic”).

Pre-Tribulation Rapture
This goes with dispensationalism and imminence, but is also beneficial in and of itself. There are a couple questions that need to be asked. What exactly is the rapture? Does it happen before, midway through, or after the tribulation? And, finally, what is the alternative to the pre-tribulation rapture that more fully suits the whole Bible? These are the primary questions dealt with, specifically through the lens of refuting the pre-tribulation rapture and establishing an alternative.

Pre-Trib Rapture
Eschatology/End Times 101
This series is an outline of the end times, first beginning with the subject matter that is most elementary to know, and then getting deeper and deeper into the subject at hand. Because this is a 101, it doesn’t dive into the depths of discerning the mark of the beast, who will be the Antichrist, the number of the beast, etc. Most of this “pop culture” end times teaching is based upon superstition and speculation. Instead, I want to begin with examining what we can know, without speculating, and build from there in a later series with attempts to understand these more obscure symbols.
Sadly, while making the series my PowerPoint ended up dying, and so I don’t have a file to share.

Eschatology 101
Apostolicity:
I am intensely jealous for the words apostolic and prophetic. These two words describe more than what many are aware of. There is the apostles and prophets, who hold a certain office, and therefore are heralded of God to portray a dimension of reality beyond and transcendent. Then, there is the gift of prophecy, which is distinct from the word of knowledge, which many so-called ‘prophets’ possess. Yet, even more foundational to those words is the very distinctive of what it means to be ‘apostolic’ or ‘prophetic’. The Church as a whole is called to be apostolic and prophetic, being built upon the apostles and prophets, and calling Jesus our Apostle and High Priest, and the great Prophet, Priest, and King. This series plumbs the depths of apostolicity, and what it is that we, even we who have not the call of apostleship, are to be.

Biblical Theology I
Much like the series on ‘What Is Bible’, this is an overview of the Scriptures. I’m planning on going through a Biblical Theology II, III, IV, etc, so unlike the ‘What Is Bible’ series, this is only a first statement, and not a burrowing dissertation. I follow the outline that I have established in my book The Theocratic Kingdom, which you can click the title to find as ebook on Amazon.

I’m ecstatic to present something my wife and I are going through together. It’s more like a vlog than video teaching, but it attempts to cover some of the “how to life” stuff. Teaching is great, but when it doesn’t necessarily cause the heart to change, is it really worth it?
